China is a fabulous place to visit. With more than 14000 Km of coastline, desert and mountains this gigantic country has a lot to offer. This was our first family trip to China and nothing better than start with the capital city, Beijing.

Served with heye bing, tian Mian Jiang and green onions, the famous slow roasted and succulent duck is something that everyone should try. We tried it, and we loved it!!

The food is known for being creative and delicious. The location is well known and desired. So what else could I ask for? Nothing! After walking around the Louvre for the whole morning, nothing better that a good restaurant.

As part of the launch campaign, South Coast Plaza hosted an event to celebrate the great news! I went to the party, and had a lot of fun with some Brazilian friends and Iovanna Couig. Of course I brought some cool thing back with me!

Wednesday, May 13th was a very busy and exciting day! I started by attending the South Coast Plaza luncheon and finished the day meeting Charlotte Olympia Dellal in person!

We now have a Charlotte Olympia store at South Coast Plaza, and Charlotte herself came for the opening. It was a pleasure to meet and talk with her, and let me tell you that Charlotte speaks impeccable Portuguese! Her mother and son were also present at the event. It was also great to see Eduardo Rosso – Charlotte Olympia Brand Developer Director – once again! I had the pleasure of first meeting him during the opening of the Florida store.

The store opened a week ago, but this was the official launch. During the luncheon, Charlotte signed shoes for all of us, lovers of the brand. So, here are some pictures of the evening. I had fun and I hope you like it too…

On Wednesday November 14th. Neiman Marcus presented the top trends for the season by Ana Maria Pimentel. Ana Maria was the accessories Director at Harper’s Bazaar for 15 years before joining the Neiman Marcus Group on April 2012. As the women’s accessories Fashion Director for Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman Pimentel’s insight is a exceptionally valuable guide. Take a look…

Her picks for dresses and gowns included Monique Lhuillier, Lela Rose, Etro, Armani and many more…

According to Pimentel the trends are extremely ‘Downton Abbey’, British aristocratic with a perfect mix of masculine and feminine. Exotic-skin bags, multicolor or printed effects were also present.

The idea of pairing boots with a skirt or dress is genuinely welcoming as it will make any woman look like she just got out of a Paris runway.

Pimentel also likes “face-framing” necklaces, along with prints of all kinds put together…

For her top favorite accessories she presented bags and shoes by Fendi, Balenciaga,

Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Alexander Wang, Charlotte Olympia, Manolo Blahnik and many more…
