This fashion show marked my very first Chanel runway, and naturally, I was completely enchanted—an impression that has stayed with me ever since. Experiencing Chanel in such an iconic setting felt surreal, almost like stepping into a fashion fairytale.
The Grand Palais is far more majestic than any photograph could ever capture. As we entered, large white panels concealed the catwalk, creating a sense of mystery about what lay behind them—although the icy cold air gave us a subtle hint of what was to come. When the show began, we were astonished by the dramatic reveal: gigantic icebergs rose from the center of the space, transforming the Grand Palais into a frozen landscape. Models glided through shallow water, dragging faux fur and delicate chiffon dresses that floated and shimmered with every step. The contrast between strength and softness was mesmerizing.
The lighting was spectacular, enhancing every detail, from the exquisite jewelry to the textures of the garments. There was an energy in the room that is difficult to put into words—powerful, magical, and unforgettable.
As if the experience couldn’t be more special, I was also invited to visit Chanel’s apartment at 31 Rue Cambon. The space is everything you imagine and more: timeless, elegant, and absolutely divine. For me, it was truly a dream come true.
