Fashion Week has officially begun! But beyond runway shows and showroom appointments, there is so much more that goes into a stylist’s daily routine. From meticulous planning to constant multitasking, every day is a carefully managed balance of creativity and logistics. Follow me through my first days and get a glimpse of how I organize my time during this exciting yet demanding week.
My first days in Paris were dedicated to store visits, previewing new arrivals, and styling the perfect ensembles for clients attending the shows or simply enjoying the city. I’m staying on the Champs-Élysées, which makes access to my favorite boutiques incredibly convenient—when traveling to Paris, location truly is everything.
My first stop was Balmain, where the Spring collection has just begun to arrive in stores—and it is absolutely fantastic. Leather pieces stand out as the highlight of the season, while the overall looks feel bold, bright, and full of energy. Next was Valentino, where the Spring/Summer 2015 collection is also making its debut, featuring rich embroideries, vibrant prints, and stunning new handbags.
As a stylist, I make sure to try every piece to assess fit and sizing, all while juggling calls, texts, and emails. Day one was all about shopping; day two focused on fittings and deliveries. It’s busy, fast-paced, and just as fun as it looks—take a look!
