The Lanvin Fall 2015 ready-to-wear fashion show took place on March 5 at 8:00 p.m., and I was fortunate enough to be there to experience it firsthand. From the moment the lights dimmed, it was clear that this would be a presentation filled with emotion, craftsmanship, and meaning.
Creative director Alber Elbaz, originally from Morocco, found his inspiration in tradition and personal heritage. For this collection, he looked inward—returning to his roots and embracing the beauty of authenticity. Elbaz has always believed that fashion should carry emotion, and this season he celebrated the elegance of “imperfection,” highlighting the unique character of handmade details and artisanal techniques.
The collection reflected this philosophy through rich textures, thoughtful silhouettes, and an intimate sense of humanity rarely seen on the runway. Each look felt expressive and soulful, blurring the line between fashion and art. It was not about perfection, but about feeling—about clothes that tell a story and connect with the wearer on a deeper level.
The designer who famously brought Lanvin back to life once again proved his ability to innovate while remaining deeply emotional and poetic. The show completely enchanted me, and I truly believe anyone who experiences this collection will feel the same magic.
