We all know that shoes can make or break an outfit, so if you ask me what are the hottest trends for shoes this season, I can tell you one thing—brace yourself.
Sling-backs are SO in! They come in variations of flats, heels, casual or dressy. Its closest partner, the mule, is also another trend that keeps going strong.
As far as the chicest color of the season, there are many blush and nude tones, with tons of details and embellishments—pearls,bows, and crystals—adding the extra” va va voom “that we love. Metallic shades are also hot this summer, and one of my favorite and unexpected hue is Rose Gold.
Transparency is another strong trend, and designers are sexing up the shoes by adding Perspex, Lucite and PVC to show off the details. It’s clear that showing off some skin is definitely a must during summer time.
Boot Camp is more like bootie camp—tons of short little numbers to show off some leg as the weather warms up, pick lighter tones like ivory, cognac, or off white. Luckily for us girls, the heel choice of summer is a kitty heel, giving us all the so needed break from sky high shoes.
