Spring has arrived!! And this year it will bring us lots of colors – and we sure need it. Color can lift our spirits, give us energy, and make us happier. We left a problematic 2020, and despite the promises of a better 2021, we are still to see substantial changes. And if we are all craving better days, designers are too.
The collection for spring 2021 has everything to bring us joy.
Color blocking this time around combines pastel with saturated colors, making us feel light and energized, feelings very much needed. It is time for us to give thanks to our pajamas, beige sweater, and old sweatpants for being with us every day during this difficult time at home, and then say hello to better, bolder, and brighter days.
In this season, pastel colors will be our new neutral while white will be present and strong as usual. Cutouts will be part of many designs, and I see this as a representation of our desire to be out and about! Don’t you think?
Isabel Marant, a dear favorite, has created unique looks in pink – another great color of the season. Orange, a passion at Driferreira’s office, will rule vibrant as the sun and don’t forget the red, vivid as ever.
As little by little life gets to normal, we must celebrate life, we must be thankful, and we must play with bold, beautiful colors trends. Most of all, we must feel pretty and very, very joyful.
