China is a fabulous place to visit. With more than 14000 Km of coastline, desert and mountains this gigantic country has a lot to offer. This was our first family trip to China and nothing better than start with the capital city, Beijing.

Served with heye bing, tian Mian Jiang and green onions, the famous slow roasted and succulent duck is something that everyone should try. We tried it, and we loved it!!

AG Restaurant St Germain

The food is known for being creative and delicious. The location is well known and desired. So what else could I ask for? Nothing! After walking around the Louvre for the whole morning, nothing better that a good restaurant.

Granville Island Market is a must destination if you visit Vancouver. With its vibrant and colorful stalls selling fresh fruits and vegetable, bread and cheese and a wide variety of homemade products.

We had so much fun here and next time we are in Vancouver we will definitely visit again!

This little bistro can be found right next to the popular Granville Island Market. This restaurant is known for the high quality ingredients they use in their recipes and the use of local ingredients.

And here is what we tried…

Yummy Quebec Split Pea Soup

The kids had a Mini Canadian Hamburger

And I had their very popular…

VIJ’s Curry Crusted Wild Albacore Tuna, and yes it is as delicious as it looks!

And this unique little bistro has a very quaint artisan store that sells anything from salad dressings to pepper jelly and wine!

My next adventure took me to “The Blue Water Cafe”, this restaurant takes pride in only using wild and sustainable seafood and its located in the Historic Yaletown neighborhood in Vancouver.

This restaurant has been awarded numerous awards including “Best of award” award of excellence wine spectator and “Top 50” Canada’s best restaurants.

And this is what we we tried!!!

Beef Tenderloin

This restaurant did not disappoint, and if you find yourself in Vancouver I would highly recommend it!

As is tradition, I would love to share some of my delicious gastronomical adventures while I travel. After our ski trip in Whistler, we spend a few days in Vancouver where we had some incredible food.

Let’s begin!!!

We will start with The Pour House Vancouver…

This restaurant is located in the popular Gastown area of Vancouver, which is known for its bars and nightlife, the atmosphere was intimate and elegant, this restaurant had a “High end pub” kind of vibe which was quite fun, and the food was extremely delicious.

And in here I had the 1/2 Maple Hills chicken and it was delish!
