Fashion week started! But it’s not all about runway shows and showroom visits, there is a lot more that goes into the daily routine of a stylist. So follow me during my first days and see how I time manage…
My first days in Paris were all about visiting the stores, checking out the new arrivals, and styling the perfect ensembles for a few of my clients who were attending the Shows, or visiting Paris. I am staying at Champs-Elysees, so my favorite boutiques are a walking distance from where I stayed—remember that when traveling to Paris location is key!
First stop—Balmain. Spring collection just started to arrive in stores and it’s F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C!!!! The leather pieces were the highlight of the season, and the collection looks are very bright and fun. Valentino was my next stop, again, SS15 is just arriving in stores—rich embroideries, lots of prints, and amazing new bags. As a stylist, I make sure to try ALL the pieces to check the size and fit; all in between calls, texts, and emails.
First day was all about shopping, the second day was about fittings, and deliveries. It’s just as fun as it looks, check it out…

On Tuesday, January 13th, I had the pleasure to meet none other than Carlos Souza, the Worldwide Brand Ambassador for Valentino. The Valentino store in Beverly Hills hosted his book signing, and it was marvelous! The book, Carlos’s Places, is about his travels and experiences. It shows beautiful cities, and recommendations for cuisines, and destinations. I got mine! Carlos seems to be a exciting and friendly person. Many of his friends and admirers stopped by to see him, and give their support. Let me show you…

From mid-November to the end of December the traditional holiday window display in NYC is on! The finest department stores on 5th avenue and other streets in midtown Manhattan, presented their most beautiful windows displays. This is the best for tourists and locals alike, even if you don’t feel like walking around, in the cold weather, you will find the bus tours that will show you everything. Only the House of Valentino would debut a couture show to inaugurate a new store! As you know, last week I attended one of the most talked about events of this year (HERE), in celebration of its newest NY store, Valentino debuted a couture collection at the Whitney Museum in New York City. It was an excellent show to inaugurate the new 5^Th Ave Store!

They also created a special capsule collection exclusive to the new location and I had the amazing opportunity to shop for exclusive pieces!From sneakers, to leather goods, to ready-to-wear and incredible handbags and of course the all-white studded Valentino pumps.
