Unfortunately I don’t have pics of the food at the Lapin Saute restaurant, but let me tell you that you must visit. It’s located in the lower city, and the food is delicious!

I loved the Marché Jean Talon! This farmer’s market is located in the Little Italy area and started in 1933. It’s opened all year around – even during the harsh Montreal Winter. During Summer, cars are not allowed on the market streets.

Schwartz’s, also known as the Montreal Hebrew Delicatessen opened in 1928. They are well known for their smoked meat. Nowadays, Schwartz’s is owned by Celine Dion, and if you want to try their food be prepared to get in line, I assure you it’s worth it. My son Mark, says that they have the best sandwich ever!

I hope you like bagels like I do. St Viateur Bagel is a famous place in Montreal and it appears in books, movies, and paintings. Located in a diverse Montreal neighborhood, this place has the most fabulous bagels. But do not expect a place to sit, be prepare to buy your bagel and hunt for a pleasant place to enjoy it, and if you decide to follow their recommendation on a place to go, let me tell you it’s a good one.

The motto at Maison Christian Faure is “Make life a dream and this dream a reality”, and I love it! Located in historic Old Montreal, Maison Christian Faure also runs a pastry school. The place is divine, and you will feel like a child.

Quartier du General is one of the best and praised by chefs around the world. The food is simple, delicious, and with great prices! I recommend it and I would go back in a heart beat.

But it was in Quebec city that I ate the best French bread ever. As a Brazilian, I do miss my fresh French bread, and at the Cafe-boulangerie Paillard we can find one of the best.
There is so much to see and so many delicious dishes to try in Montreal and Quebec. You should not miss them!
