Those of you who follow me on Instagram, know that I just attended one of the most anticipated events of the year! One of my favorite designers, Valentino, in celebration of its newest NY store, debuted a couture show on Wednesday, December 10th, at the Whitney Museum in New York City. My delight started earlier this week because on Tuesday, the evening prior to the show, I attended a fabulous dinner with Valentino’s couture director Katia Smirnoff, and other guests.
When Wednesday came, it was the time to appreciate the show–creative Directors Maria Grazia Chiuri, and Pier Paolo Piccioli, delivered an spectacular show! I guess there is no need to say that my week started on a fabulous note. It was amazing!!! Many celebrities attended; Karolina Kurkova, Ivanka Trump, Katie Holmes, Olivia Palermo, Emma Roberts and Garance Doré amongst others – Click here and take a look at Elle list of best dressed.
Overall it was a FANTASTIC event!
The collection was “tailored” to New York city but inspired by a Valentino collection from the 60’s, and it was created exclusively for this occasion…
Maria Grazia Chiuri, and Pier Paolo Piccioli will also debut yet ANOTHER couture collection this coming January during Couture Fashion week! So stay tuned….because now I invite YOU to see everything that I’ve seen…
