Playa del Carmen is one of the must-visit places in Mexico. As you might know, Del Carmen is a coastal resort town on the Yucatán Peninsula (Riviera Maya). It’s known for its coral reefs, scuba diving, and, of course, beaches. There you will find plenty of shops, restaurants, nightspots, and much more. So, if you are looking for fun, beautiful scenery, sun, and relaxation, Playa del Carmen is definitely your place.
It was our second time staying at a Iberostar hotel. Our first time was in Jamaica, and we liked it so much that we decided to go to Iberostar Playa del Carmen.
The hotel has three complexes: one for the young and on a budget, a second for families with kids, and the third—Grand Paraiso—only adults. No need to say that Grand Paraiso has the best restaurant, facilities, and basically everything.
But I do recommend the “Paraiso Maya” if you have kids. We stayed there. Let me tell you that the kids will have activities all day long, and the parents will be free to relax!
…And let’s not forget about the food!
