Sedona is located in Arizona, at the county line between  the Coconino and Yavapai counties in the northern Verde Valley region. It was named after Sedona Arabella Miller Schnebly, wife of the first postmaster Theodore Carlton Schnebly. The city is known for its red sandstone formations, which appear to glow in brilliant orange and red when illuminated by the sunrise, or sunset. Sedona is also known for the spiritual seekers, hikes, and mountain biking lovers. I went there during Thanksgiving, It was only for 3 days but let me tell you…I loved it!! Next time, I’ll be there for at least one week. On top of all the natural beauty, they have fabulous spas!!

I saw some of the main attraction over there, but I have much, much more to see next time…

The cathedral was my favorite spot! We hiked to the top and came down around it. My kids loved the adventure, this is a place that I want to return every time that I  visit Sedona…

The Chapel of the Holy Cross is the most impressive Catholic church I have ever seen. The view from both the inside and outside is breathtaking…

We stayed at the Amara Resort Spa, which was great, but we had access to the  “Oasis”  located behind the L’Auberge de Sedona. It was a dream and perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking…
