Wonders Of Cambodia

“Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before.”

– Dalai Lama

Last December, we traveled to Cambodia and Vietnam, and it was my first time visiting that part of Asia. I absolutely loved it. The cultures, landscapes, and history were all incredibly rich and inspiring. Today and next Friday, I’ll be sharing some of the amazing places we experienced along the way. And let me tell you—the long journey across the globe was completely worth it. I truly believe the Dalai Lama was right about traveling to new places: it’s essential for the soul and leaves you feeling renewed and inspired.

We began our journey by finding an excellent travel agency, Custom Vietnam Travel Co., Ltd. (no sponsorship), which took care of all our transfers, cars, drivers, and guides throughout the entire trip. Everything was seamless and stress-free, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to return to both countries—they captured my heart instantly.

Upon our arrival in Phnom Penh, a guide and driver greeted us and took us to our hotel. While in the city, we visited the stunning Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, named for its floor made of more than 5,000 silver tiles. From boat trips and ancient ruins to the breathtaking Bayon Temple and so many other unforgettable sights, there is simply too much to describe in words. Instead, I’ll let the photos speak for themselves—after all, they are worth a thousand words.
